Why we built it
Thousands of Indian teachers teach on YouTube Live every day, for school boards, SSC, banking, railways, UPSC, NEET and JEE. They all face the same problem: a live class with no interaction feels like a recorded video, and students drift away. Classroom quiz tools ask students to leave the stream and join with a code; YouTube's own polls have to be typed by hand mid-class. Polls Patamde makes asking questions as fast as teaching, without asking students to go anywhere.
