Airflute Technologies ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Polls Patamde mobile application and website. Polls Patamde is a flagship product of Airflute Technologies. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Polls Patamde uses YouTube API Services. By using our Service, you also agree to be bound by the Google Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

We collect several types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you:

  • Google Account Information: When you sign in with Google OAuth 2.0, we access your basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) for authentication and account management.
  • YouTube Channel Information: With your explicit consent via OAuth 2.0, we request access to your YouTube channel data including channel ID, channel name, and live broadcast information. This data is used solely to identify your channel and create polls on your live streams.
  • YouTube Live Broadcast Data: We access your active and scheduled YouTube Live broadcasts to enable poll creation. We read broadcast metadata (title, status, scheduled time) to display available streams. We do not access, read, store, or process your YouTube videos, comments, subscribers, analytics, or any other channel data beyond what is necessary for poll functionality.
  • Quiz Data: PDFs you upload are processed by Google's Gemini AI to extract questions. We store the extracted questions securely in Firebase.
  • Usage Data: We collect information on how the Service is accessed and used, including device type, app version, and feature usage statistics.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain our Service
  • To create polls on your YouTube Live streams
  • To extract questions from your uploaded PDFs
  • To track poll results and provide analytics
  • To manage your subscription and process payments
  • To send you notifications about your account or the Service

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure with the following measures:

  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest
  • Firestore security rules ensure users can only access their own data
  • We use Firebase Authentication for secure user management
  • PDFs are processed securely and not stored permanently

YouTube API Services Usage

Our application uses YouTube API Services to provide its core polling functionality. Specifically:

  • YouTube Data API v3: Used to list your live broadcasts, create polls (live chat messages with poll data) on your YouTube Live streams, and read poll results. We access the following API scopes:
    • youtube.force-ssl — Required to manage your YouTube live broadcasts and create polls
    • youtube.readonly — Required to read your live broadcast information and channel details
  • Data Access Limitations: We ONLY access data necessary for poll creation on live streams. We do NOT access your uploaded videos, watch history, subscriptions, comments, playlists, or any other YouTube data unrelated to live broadcasting and polling.
  • Data Retention: YouTube broadcast metadata (broadcast ID, title, status) is cached temporarily during active sessions and is not permanently stored. Poll results (vote counts, option text) are stored in your Firebase account for your reference. You can delete poll results at any time from within the app.

Google OAuth 2.0

We use Google OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication and authorization:

  • We request only the minimum permissions necessary for our Service to function
  • Your Google account credentials are never stored by us — authentication is handled entirely by Google
  • OAuth tokens are stored securely and used only to make authorized API requests on your behalf
  • We do not share your Google data with any third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., YouTube API calls to create polls on YOUR channel)

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Firebase: For authentication, database, analytics, and hosting
  • Google Gemini AI: For PDF question extraction (PDFs are processed and not permanently stored)
  • YouTube Data API v3: For creating polls on live streams (governed by YouTube API Services Terms of Service)
  • Cashfree: For payment processing (we do not store your payment card details)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Revoke YouTube access permissions at any time
  • Cancel your subscription at any time

Revoking YouTube Access

You can revoke Polls Patamde's access to your YouTube data at any time by:

  • Visiting Google Security Settings
  • Finding "Polls Patamde" in the list of apps with access to your account
  • Clicking "Remove Access"

Upon revocation, we will no longer be able to access your YouTube data. Any previously stored poll results will remain in your account until you delete them or request account deletion.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • Account Data: Retained as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
  • YouTube Data: Broadcast metadata is cached only during active sessions and not permanently stored. Poll results are retained until you delete them.
  • Quiz Data: Stored until you delete them from the app or request account deletion.
  • Payment Data: Transaction records are retained as required by applicable Indian tax laws. Payment card details are never stored by us.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
